The lab this week was popular amongst my participant who repeated the test three times in hopes to do better after each trial. During the lab my participant would verbally and physically express their emotions by jumping towards the computer yelling it was annoying when they made a mistake. Since the amount of attempts were limited during the trial my participant got aggravated when a mistake was made on accident but since there was no redo it resulted in frustration from my participant and the desire to be correct. Overall my participant handled the situation normal and wanted to continue to figure out the correct answers even when they were wrong. In real life we experience solving problems everyday but the one thing to remember when faced with a difficult problem is to start with a positive outlook. Or a math problem that requires prior knowledge in algebra but is set up in a way that is more difficult than before. One way to begin a problem is not just assume the correct answer but stay open minded about other possible ways to find the solution to a given problem. When faced with a problem one-way to further understand is by looking at the problem from a different perspective before attempting to put a solution in place, seek out the problem and once you understand the problem it is then in context where you can now determine the best course of action to take. Before jumping straight into a difficult problem take time to define the problem completely by dissecting to actually defining the problem. Once you understand a problem completely you can then take it piece by piece and solve the problem size by size. Also when faced with difficult problems it is important to think logically and creating a plan requires you think through all the issues by
