B Martin Luther King Jr. once said “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation that they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”. People are always talking about how all cops are racist and how all black are criminals. To me that isn’t true. Yes some cops are racist and that is why blacks are mistreated a lot. It’s not fair. Blacks are also beaten and judged for what they wear. To me that’s not right and that is why I am writing this, to tell you some of the injustices that blacks go through. People have lost trust in blacks because of what other people say about them. Some people say that all blacks are criminals, but they aren’t. Blacks have also lost trust in police; there are at least two reasons for that. Reason one: is that cops aren’t always there when blacks need their help. The other reason is that some cops are racist …show more content…
Even if they are there, sometimes they never help. There is also the fact that most blacks can’t do what whites can do. Blacks in general don’t have equal rights. There are sometimes that they get beat or accused of a crime they didn’t commit.
There’re sometimes that cops and other people judge blacks for what they wear. Like if a black is wearing baggy clothes some people think that they are a drug dealer or something like that. A lot of blacks get unfair trials. Some times even for something they didn’t even do. Also considering, if they do get trialed and found guilty they get more jail time compared to a white. People might say “That’s not true. Black lives matter.” but we wouldn’t be in this situation if people thought that black lives mattered. To me people need to grow up and face the facts. These things that are happening need to stop. It says in the constitution “All men are created equally.” right now that is not the case. My question is why would people think this is okay to
