For example, the book, Gilgamesh is very similar to Beowulf because they are both good and have to fight evil. In Beowulf and Gilgamesh, the heroes have to fight a main villain like Humbaba or Grendel. They also have much strength and bravery and they both have mostly good in them. Beowulf also relates to real life because people have to fight evil every day.
One example of this is that fire is evil and wants to destroy things and firefighters are good and have to destroy or kill the evil. Another example is that terrorists that want to destroy countries are evil and the the U.S military and other countries try to stop it because they are good. As I have just showed you, Beowulf: A New Telling, By Robert Nye is a great book to read if you are interested in the relationship and battle between good and evil, light and dark. I really enjoyed Beowulf because it has an interesting story and it is action packed. Also, Beowulf is very illustrative when describing scenes and characters. Beowulf is very relatable to other books and real life experiences. One thing I would have liked to see in Beowulf was more time spent on Beowulf when he was
