To better analyze this speech, I will be employing Aristotle’s method of rhetorical criticism by Ethos, Pathos, and Logos as well as systematically going through the most relevant questions provided in our Honors Public Speaking Textbook from page 18 under Becoming a Critic of Public Speaking. While the textbooks questions are straight forward Aristotle’s method may require a bit more background. Ethos, Pathos, and Logos are also known as Aristotle’s modes of Persuasion.
