Richard Ramirez. Does that name sound familiar? How about The Night Stalker? Ring a bell? If not, you're lucky. He’s just one of those people who kills for pleasure. No, he kills because “ satan makes him”. Many people in LA would be shaking and sweating bullets behind their locked windows and houses, because one of the worst serial killers in the state's history was out there committing his crimes. No one ever knew who he was going to go for next. This criminal was very notorious for his rapes, robberies, and murders. Richard Ramirez was born on February 28th 1960 in El Paso, Texas. He’s also the youngest of seven. As a kid he did drugs and had some minor charges. There isn’t really any evidence of why he committed crimes as a kid, but is pathetic crimes put him in juvenile detention. By the end of it all, The Night Stalker had received a death sentence 19 different times along with 198 years of prison on different charges. Also after he pleaded guilty to many things, he was sentenced to life in prison. They wanted him to die in jail just from dying or to be executed there. He did end up dying right before his execution but in a hospital not in jail. Nobody really knows what happened about him dying right before execution though. Richard Ramirez died on June 7th during his treatment for lymphoma,cancer, at Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae. One his last quotes was “ I am good and evil. I will be avenged.
