In the modern world poetry is not common anymore; however, listening to music is more popular than ever. Therefore, in my English class we were asked to find a song that has poetic elements and identify them. The song I choose “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele is like a modern poem because it has many examples of figurative language, imagery and it tells a story.
