Rosa Parks was sitting in the "colored only" section on the bus when more white people started to board. The bus driver asked her and 4 other black people to get up and let the whites sit. Rosa refused because she was tired of giving in. The police were then called and Rosa was arrested.

Rosa parks was an activist in the civil rights movement. One day she was on a segregated Alabama bus and refused to give her seat to a white person when the bus driver asked 4 black people to get up and let the white passengers sit down, including Rosa. Rosa refused to because she was tired of giving in. The bus driver then called the police and Rosa was later arrested. Rosa was born on February 4th, 1913, Tuskegee AL, and died October 24th, 2005 in Detroit
