The Russian Revolution consists of two revolutions in Russia, which abolished the Tsarist autocratic rule and steered towards the prosperity of the country, currently to communism. Of the two revolutions they were a product primarily of voluntarist factors, most prominently the leadership of Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, or the alias of Vladimir Lenin. The first revolution of February 1917, Lenin was not as present as he had been exiled. However with Tsar in power the Soviet Union was delayed industrially, and economically inefficient amidst the highly centralized state, which had induced the spontaneous February revolution. The article addresses the Russian revolution as a cultural or social revolution. Supporting the transformation of the Soviet Union’s social structure, along from mass revolts that was orchestrated or influenced by Lenin. Through assessing Lenin’s strategies, he gained the likes and support the peasants, and minorities who accounted for the majority of the population. Resulting in the Bolshevik in 1917 becoming the forerunner party, and creating the October Revolution. Moreover from Lenin the strategy of gaining support for those below allowed for the idea of revolution to diffuse.
