Women all over the world get mistreated every single day. When they walk down the streets vulgar things are yelled their way. The majority of men do not see women as a human being but they see women more as something to please them. Women have come a long way, but we still aren’t where we should be. Women are criticized on how the dress, women are sexually assaulted, and women in some countries have not rights at all. First of all, women are expected to dress ad look a certain way, People expect women to have a full face of perfect makeup on everyday so we look more “presentable”. Women are often called horrible names for how they are dressed. Women aren’t supposed to wear short shorts that show their legs, wear shirts that show cleavage, or dresses that are too revealing. Females are expected to cover themselves at all times because if we show too much skin then men might now be able to control themselves. When a woman walks out of her home she shouldn’t have to hear men make sexual comments or fear that someone might go as far as touching them. Men are extremely crude towards women and think that they can do anything they want. Women aren’t just a piece of meat or man’s pleasure or entertainment. Our current president, Donald Trump, makes sexist comments about women, and it sets a huge example for our country. President Trump degrading women on national television teaches men, women, and children that it’s okay when it’s not. Also men get away with sexual assault all the time, and it’s not right.
