Should Judges Have Term Limits

A federal judge can be removed from office by impeachment only. They have lifetime appointment and can only get the job if appointed by the current president of the United States. A State Judge on the other hand can sit for a 4 to 6 year term. They can either be appointed by the state Governor, elected by the people. By all means I agree that all judges should have term limits and should be appointed and reelected after their term is up. The commander- in- chief should possess the ability to appoint a judge. The Governor has the necessary knowledge and skills to know who is capable of doing the job. As likewise, a citizen should be given the right to choose a candidate that they feel would uphold the constitution and bring forth justice.
