Numerous debates take place across the globe on the effects of smoking. Some analysts argue that smoking has adverse effects on users and that it is wise to quit as early as possible. Analysts find out that among other effects such as spending so much money to acquire the drug and destroying one’s looks, a smoker has high chances of developing cancer than a non-smoker. Investigators therefore, warn that it is wise to refrain from smoking or quit in the earliest time possible. However, despite the frightening warnings, smokers continue with their lifestyle thus putting their lives in danger. Analysts and health practitioners should come up with a strong argument that would create an evident link between smoking and cancer to reduce the rate of smoking.

Critics may argue that smoking does not cause cancer considering the fact that some people have been smoking for many years without showing any signs of cancer.
