The population I have decided to study is individuals with alcohol abuse. Drinking is an extremely serious problem in the United State. Not only does drinking affect the person that is consuming the alcohol but it also affects other people who are around them. Some of these people are affected many different ways. Some of the people that can be affected by a person who uses alcohol are family members of this person. Such as the parent of this person, their children, and sometimes their communities.

For instance, if a mother drinks alcohol during the time she is pregnant then the child she is caring will be affected by her drinking."The baby she is caring will eventually develop FAS, also known as Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Some of these symptoms

A person’s life must be falling apart before they can be diagnosed with a problem. It is inaccurate because nearly 20% of alcoholics do not demonstrate visible signs of substance abuse. It is important to understand and help these people because alcohol abusers can get aggressive very easily if it didn’t get help on time it will get worse. They invited a person who use to be a drunk driver to talk to us about not driving when you are drunk. This person shared his story and how his life has changed after driving while drunk. This person was a great football player in high school. He got offers from top schools around the country, but things changed on the night of prom. When he decided to drive after drinking all night. He know he should not be driving but he did not care about what could happen. The next morning, he woke up in the hospital. The doctors told him that he will never walk again, and his best friend died that night. Listening to his story was sad but I think most of my classmate learned a lot that
