This statement is not true because scientist have proved that many striking similarities exist between a human and a fish. People who believe this statement to be true are most likely focusing on the overall appearance between these two organisms (humans have hands with fingers and fish have fins). There are other major differences between these two organisms (fish live in water and humans live on land) but those differences are the result of evolution and similarities between the two organisms do exist. One major similarity is in the bone structure of these organisms.
