1. “A Night Divided” written by Jennifer A. Nielsen, was taken place in Berlin, Germany, after World War Two. August 13, 1961, the Berlin Wall was built by the German Democratic Republic, also know as GDR. This wall divided the East and the West of Germany, with four sectors. On the west, there was a French, British, and American Sector. As for the East, there was the Soviet Sector. On page 1 and 2, line 15-18, “Line of Grenzers – out nickname for the border police, the Grenztruppen – stood guard along a fence of thorny wire, in some places higher than their heads, and for as far as my eyes could see.” The town was falling apart, all you can see is grey.
