A book that fits into this example is Truman Capote's In Cold Blood because it is based off of a real tragedy. Many pieces of literature demonstrate that bad things can happen to good people, even people who try to do the right thing; this is proven through Lennie from John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, Clarisse from Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451, and the Clutter Family from Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood.

Lennie is one of the main characters from John Steinbeck’s story, “Of Mice and Men”. He is very big, strong, and kind, but he has a mental disability which can sometimes cause him to get in
