Court Visit
We visited District and Supreme Court In Central Brisbane. The court that we visited fits in the hierarchy as being the courts after magistrates and before the high court. The court system has a hierarchy for a reason this is because it would make the court more fluent and means the minor cases can be dealt with the lower ranking courts and the serious cases like murder or manslaughter can be dealt with the higher courts such as the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court I had visited is only allowed to see court cases above $750,000 in costs and damages and is after having an appeal in the district court.
Court Personal
The court Personnel was that the defendant was on parallel to the judge and the sheriff was to the right of the defendant the jury stand was to the left of the judge and in the middle was the prosecutor and defense barrister with the solicitors around each side the public gallery is behind the defendants box. All though the defendant pleaded Guilty, but the defendants barrister did explain that the charge of assault was not entirely the defendants fault because the injuries occurred to the victim was not of a punch but of the defendant resisting arrest, when the victim fell the defendant fell on top of the victim and injured the victims ribs later the assault charged was dropped from the case. The solicitor was to receive the paperwork and research and provided the barristers with the information to write an argument. The barrister was to give an argument either for or against the defendant. 
 The Defendant dressed in formal clothes such as a tie no blazer and long pants and formal pointed shoes and was using formal language. The defendants clothing or behavior could have tampered with the sentencing because if the defendant is un-behaved and ill mannered or dress informally this can dictate his out
