I tend to believe that many authors tend to write about their dogs once the dog has past away. Due to the fact that they could miss the dog or the dog played a major rule in that person’s life. In the story by Anna Tuttle Villegas called “Sweet Dog, Gone," she writes about how once her dog died from going out into a thunder storm. She didn’t realize how much of a significance the dog played in her life and how much she really was going to miss her dog.
