“Nothing happens Paul. There is no IEP in your file.” That was a character choice made by Mrs. Fisher meaning that she took the IEP (Individualized Education Plan). In the novel Tangerine, by Edward Bloor there is a middle school boy by the name of Paul Fisher who is legally blind but loves the sport of Soccer and just wants to be on a soccer team. Paul’s favorite position to play is goalie and he wants his parents to watch him play, but Paul’s parents are doing other things, like getting caught up in the Erik Fisher Football Dream, and Paul has been wanting to know what has happened to his eye, and why Erik’s friend called him Eclipse Boy.
