Have you ever lived on an island for the chance to earn one million dollars? Well, I am about to, and all I can bring is a backpack full of ten things. The ten things that I am bringing include a ten pound bag of rice, water filters, a first aid kit, Advil, sunscreen, a knife, a flashlight, a fire starting kit, a cooking pot, and a waterproof tent. If you are wondering why these are all the things I am bringing, then I will tell you.
You need food and water/water filters to survive. Without food(rice) you become very weak. You also can only live a month without food. Without a water filter, you would run out of fresh water to drink. You can last about a week without water. Those are two very important things to have in life to live.
Other things you need to survive would be a first aid kit and Advil. A first aid kit would be needed if you got hurt. You could use the things in it to help heal yourself quick and fast. I would take the Advil

I would use the sunscreen to protect myself from the harsh desert sun. If I did not wear sunscreen, then I would be badly burned. I would use the knife to defend myself from animals and other things that could harm me. I could also use it to kill animals for food. The flashlight would be used to see at night or in places that are in the dark.
Other things that I would need would be a fire starting kit and a cooking pot. I would use the fire starting kit to build fires to keep me warm and to cook food on. I would need the cooking pot to cook my rice and other food items in.
The last thing that I would bring would be a waterproof tent. It is waterproof so it when keep me dry in the event of it raining. It is also a tent, so that would be my shelter to keep me safe from harmful things that come my way.
In conclusion, you can see that living on an island could be difficult.The ten things that I brought will help me along the way to keep things going smoothly. Wish me
