Texas Roadhouse has been transforming the lives of Appalachia
Louisville, Ky. — Diania Ciresi, Sr. Manager of Community Relations for Texas Roadhouse talked about this partnership, what drives their volunteer efforts, and their continued commitment to the region of Appalachia. Texas Roadhouse has been a valued corporate partner for the past seven year. A lot of the work that Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) has done has been made possible by the generosity, support, and service of community and corporate partners. This Louisville-based business has been sending volunteer teams annually to complete an array of projects.

Like, Eagle Community Center in McCreary County endured painting organizing and the installation of a huge sand volleyball pit. Volunteer teams working with the Elderly Housing Program by making home improvements by building ramps, replacing windows, and providing property enhancements. At Camp Shawnee, Texas Roadhouse has provided every bunk bed and mattress in the camp, built tables for the new Craft Room, and screened in the gazebo by the lake. Being a helping hand is the main goal for these volunteer and these are just some of the many contributions they have done to help transform lives.
