Have you ever had an experience of a lifetime that you will never forget? I have! Thanksgiving break 2009. That was a weekend to remember. “Are we there?” I asked my parents, in the middle of the night after they just woke me up. My family had spent almost the entire day in the car on our way to Chicago. “Almost. Wake up your sisters and tell them to grab what they want for the night.” My Mom told me. “Brittany, Katelyn!” I said. “Kristina! I told you not to wake me up!” Katelyn said. “Sorry Katelyn mom told me to tell you to grab your stuff cuz we’re almost there.” I told my sister. “Correction we are there!” Brittany said, pointing to a gigantic house. “It’s like a mansion!” I tell them. “Wait til you the inside!” Katelyn said to me. …show more content…
As we stepped inside all I could think was WOW!!!!!! “This is so cool with all of the nutcrackers, lights and well everything!” I said. “I know I think this is the only time they got there Christmas stuff out this early.” Brittany said. Everyone was feeling very tired from the long trip. “Alright girls time to go to bed, I called Aunt Angi earlier and she told us where to sleep.” Our Dad said, “Brittany, Katelyn you are going to be on the third floor, couch ok.” “Alright dad.” Katelyn said, “ Good night guys see you in the morning.” She said, as she and Brittany started up the stairs. “Dad what about me?” I asked my Dad. “Come on Kristina, you are going to be sleeping with Brianna when she get’s here.” He said, as we walked up the wooden staircase. “Dad? When is Brianna going to get here?” I said. “Sometime later tonight now I’ll see you in the morning, okay?” My Dad said tucking me in the bed. “Okay, see you in the morning.” I said as I drifted off to
