On page 159 is where terror begins. It the first word bubble it says, “A few days later, the trucks came they pushed in maybe 100 of us”. In one truck the Nazis could squeeze 100 prisoners, and there were many trucks making trips back and forth with large groups of people. This helps readers understand that this group of people was a small percentage of those brought into these horrible work and death camps. In the films the class watched in class, it showed the large numbers of people lined up waiting to enter the camps. This forces the reader and viewer to feel sadness, watching groups of people unload from vans with the belief that this was the end.
