The Andy Griffith show had a lot of things alike with a book I read. The story was called “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street”. It had a lot of things in common with The Andy Griffith Show, but it still had a lot of things that were different.First I am going to write about how they are the same first. In two paragraphs I’m going to say how they are alike. The Andy Griffith Show and “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street” are very alike I am going to talk about that first. The settings are alike because they both start out in a peaceful neighborhood. The neighborhoods in both start out normal and quiet. Then in both The Andy Griffith Show and “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street” the whole neighborhood get very serious and suspenseful. The settings were very alike in both stories. In both people were being accused of things. Everybody that was accused didn’t have anything to do with what they were acused for. At first the mood in both stories had were playful and funny mood. As the they went on it got suspious and serious. There are some ways that they can be contrasted. In “The Andy Griffith Show” the town was larger than the one in “The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street”. “The Monsters are Due On Maple Street” was science fiction. “The Andy Griffith Show” was realistic; it could have acually happened. “The Andy Griffith Show’s” violence wasn’t as bad as “The Monsters Are Due On Maple Streets’s”. In one they were just arguing; in the other someone got
