Is Greed Good?
The Gilded Age was a time of money, power, and industrialization. Major industries arose during this time such as Steel industry, Oil refining, Banking, and Railroads. But Greed was a major issue during this time because the workers would be taken advantage of by their employers. Employers believed their employees should work for as little as possible and didn't deserve any better because they were mostly immigrants. With these business rising the wealth and power of the founder of the industry also rose. Andrew Carnegie was one of these individuals. He was a man who made the steel industry, he became very wealthy in this industry. Greed is not good because it can cause issues for other people, and cause violence.
