I have never really thought of my life as a tragic or dramatic one, especially compared to a lot of people around me. After reading The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, I had to step back and really put my life into perspective to really grasp the reality on how good I have it. With that being said, I can definitely pick out disturbances within my tranquility of life that has shaped me into the person I am today. We moved out from my dad’s house to reside mostly with my mom at her new apartment. Til this day, I am thankful about how things were handled between my dad and my mom, for they did not fight one bit and they have not til this day. How things were handled up into the present day, was that we alternate weekends staying at my mom’s apartment or my dad’s house, and visit my dad’s house a couple times during the week.
