You must not fear, fear is the mind killer. Almost every adventure or action book is a repetition of the same basic story structure. The Hero’s Journey is divided into 3 main groups of steps. The ordinary world, the extraordinary world and the return to the ordinary world, which includes the hero taking a new ordinary role. Many popular novels include these steps, such as Dune, Citizen of the Galaxy, and Harry Potter.

The first main world is the ordinary world. For example, “...The week before their departure to Arrakis… (Herbert, 1).” The protagonist has just gotten their “call to action,” but is still in the ordinary world.
