The hero’s journey is common with a lot of books and it starts with the ordinary world and begins the journey, for example, from the beginning of Touching Spirit Bear. Cole Mathews beats up a kid named Peter because he told him to rob a store. Cole then meets a guy named Garvey. He tells him about the Circle Justice program which will send him to Alaska so he can “heal”.

Another part of the hero's journey is main character testing allis For example in Touching Spirit Bear Cole tests hid dad in the Circle of Justice program by telling him how bad of a dad he is and he was getting sent to Alaska so his dad would not be able to hurt him and he knew that that is why he chose to test hid dad infront of everybody.
