In the book The Hunger Games, Haymitch, Effie and Cinna help Katniss in many ways. Haymitch, Katniss’ mentor, but for the most part he is usually drunk and is not able to give her meaningful advice. Effie, another mentor of katniss, attempts to make all the tributes feel good about playing a part in the annual hunger games. Cinna, another mentor of katniss, is Katniss’s hair stylist. Even though all of Katniss’s mentors work hard at helping Katniss, Cinna is the one who ends up being the biggest impact to katniss. With Cinna’s style he makes katniss feel Confident and the sponsors make note of her. Haymitch is a good mentor when he is sober, but when he is drunk he is not a good person.
