One way to become registered as an organ donor is by going to the DMV and checking off the donor box on your driver’s license application or renewal form. Another way to register as an organ donor is to register with National Donate Life Registry. This will make sure that our donor registration will travel with you no matter where you live. Also, even if you are not registered as an organ donor but still want to donate your organs once you pass, you could do so by telling your family that that is what you want to do. Because if you are not registered as an organ donor, the doctors will ask your next of kin for consent
