The pyramids that are here now and that been there over a thousands of years, and its background of how they built them in that time.The ancient pyramids, pyramid building began in the late third century. (c.2325 B.C) More than 4000 years later the egyptian pyramids still retain much of their majesty. From the beginning of Dynastic period (2950 B.C) royal tombs were carved into rock and covered with flat-roofed known as “mastabas”. The oldest known pyramid of Egypt was built around 2630 B.C at Saqqara, for the third dynasty of Djoser.

They reach the height 204 feet (62 meters). 2.3 million blocks were used of limestone (2.5 ton). Ancient Greek historian Herodotus wrote that it took 20 years to build and required the labor of 100000 men, but later archaeological evidences suggests that the work force might actually have been around 20000. Pyramids continued to be built throughout the fifth and sixth dynasties but the general quality scale of their construction declined over this period. Beginning with that of King Unas (2375-2345 B.C) pyramid builders began to include written accounts of events in the kings reign on the stone walls, telling every story of every event. From time to time Pyramid building has lowered.Tomb robbers and other vandals in both ancient and modern times removed most bodies and funeral goods from Egypt pyramids and plundered their exteriors as well. The great pyramids are no longer their original height they use to be back then. The sides are oriented to the four cardinal points of the compass and the length of each side at the base is 755 feet (230.4m). The faces are at an angle to closer to their side. Their original height was 481 feet
