Throughout life we make our own decisions. Helping others is one of them. In the stories, "The man in the well" and "If you touched my heart", The victims who were left alone were not helped by people at the moment they faced difficulties. Everything happens for a reason and then this case the victims go through a hard situation in getting help. There are various similarities and differences in both of the stories about the victims trapped that needed help.

One of them was being helped at the end of the story, People have different opinions in this case one group of the children from one of the stories decided to help put the man and the other group did not; In the story, The Man in the Well, "Before we left that day, as we were rising quietly and looking at the dark shadows of the trees we had to move through to reach our homes, he said, "why didn't you tell anyone?" Since the children decided not to help the man out, it turned out most likely for the man to die in the well that day by drowning in it since it rained, On the other hand, the children from the story, If You Touched My Heart, the children spread out the word they had found the door to hell.
