Parkinson’s disease is diagnosed based on medical history, on signs and symptoms, as well on neurological and physical examination. The primary cause of Parkinson’s disease is unknown. According to scientists it could be genetic and environmental factors. Consequently, the symptoms are due to the loss of dopaminergic neurons, and neurotransmitters as well.
Age, family history, exposure to pesticides, male sex are the predisposing factors. Parkinson’s disease prevention method remain unknown. Nonetheless, according to mayo clinic (2017) research have shown that caffeine, tea, cola, and green tea may reduce the risk of developing the disease. Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that grows over the years, and leading to the weakening of the movement and shortfalls in mental functioning.

Parkinson’s disease developed in several stages. Stage on is the mildest form and at this stage, the symptoms may appear, and are not severe enough to affect the overall lifestyle. Stage two is a moderate form, and the symptoms are more visible than those experienced in stage one. So, Stiffness, tremors, and trembling may be more perceptible, and changes in facial expressions can be arise. Stage three is the middle stage, people in this stage are more likely to experience loss of balance and decreased of the reflexes. Stage four is very challenging for patient to stand without assistance. But, movement may need a walker or other type of assistive device. Stage five is the most progressive and incapacitating stage, causing stiffness in the legs and impossible to stand or walk. People require wheelchairs, and are most the time unable to stand without
