The United States profited off the “Manifest Destiny” majorly because they were able to get new resources and land. They were able get more land by either purchasing, threatening,war or making a new friendship. The land they got was Florida (1810-1819), Oregon (1846), Texas (1845) and the Mexican Cession (1848). The land they got was filled with good resources like oil, sheep, cattle and cotton from Texas, some new trees found in Oregon and many more.They were also able to reduce some European countries too. The idea of Manifest Destiny shows that they had a satisfying outcome more than a negative result.
