A nation wide statistical collection of crimes in more than 18,000 city, university and college, county, state, tribal, and federal law enforcement agencies is known as the Uniform Crime Reporting program. Crime rates have drastically decreased over the last several years since the 90's. Some of the reasons would be due to the enforcement on sentencing laws, enactment of right-to-carry gun, economic factors, and the most captivating reason is our population is getting older. Since the 1990's, the people aged eighteen to thirty four has deceased by over eighteen percent. People in this age catergory tend to commit the most crimes.
