“A true hero isn't measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart-Hercules”. The Hunger Games is a story of heroes, although many character arise at the thought of being a hero but only one comes to my mind, Haymitch. Heroes like the quote above are measured in the strength of their heart and Haymitch had a lot of heart. The true hero of the Hunger Games in my opinion is Haymitch because he kept Katniss and Peeta alive. Without Haymitch, Katniss and Peeta would not have survived.
First of all Haymitch went through the game himself and survived, so that gives him power of being a hero. Being the first and only winner in district 12 had shown a lot to Haymitch, like how to survive and what mistakes not to make. So
