The significant location of Antarctica is one of the world’s most evocative white continent. Antarctica is in fact a desert and the 5th largest continent in the World as well as the coldest. When it snows, the snow doesn’t actually melt but builds up over years to make a enormous thick sheet of ice which is called ice sheets. Antarctica is known for their ice which then transfers to glaciers, ice shelves and icebergs.
Antarctica is a continent found almost entirely south of the Antarctic Circle. The climate is unrelenting as it is the coldest, driest place on earth, with the highest winds, and highest average elevation.
