The Trayvon Martin case was a controversial trial on racial profiling and killing of Trayvon. Because of this many felt that the killing of Trayvon was unjust. This sparked civil rights protest and riots for justice.We will decipher if these forms of civil disobedience is sufficient for change. By examining what happened in the Trayvon Martin case, what happened in past events like Emmett Till and Rodney King, and what happened in events after the case like Freddy Gray. And show how civil disobedience like the Trayvon Martin riot in California do not help and can do more damage than good.

One is a person feeling something is socially odd based assumingly on race. After that a person tries to take the law into their own hands.In either cases their is debatabe evidence on what happened. However, we have more evidence today mostly because of our communication through phones. While, the Emmett Till case we based solely on word to mouth. Both kids were murdered but it differed in severity. Because one Trayvon was shot while Emmett was beaten to basically to death then shot. The claims on why these acts of murder were justified with incompetent motives. People of the time argued it was justifiable because he was blacks and they are not suppose to like or try to intermingle with white people. Since Emmett was a boy and went to a predominately white school he may have had white friends. Trayvon Martin’s murder was justified because they had gotten into scuffle. However, before that George was ordered to stand down and refused.
The Trayvon Martin california riot was similar to the Rodney King riots. Similarities is both situation men who were seen as obviously guilty by the public were found not guilty. After the the men were not found guilty there was a big riot. The California Rodney King riot had so much damage, robbery, and assault it terrified all civilian of different races. It was started because of policeman brutality on black males. Trayvon Martin issues case was racial profiling, and brutality.

The riot in California was never supposed to happen, but it did. That is because anger had been built from feeling unjustly treated. The only thing is the response did nothing about the case. Parents of the Trayvon were not for violence. If we pursue handling things peacefully we could see more improvement. For example, look at the Martin Luther peaceful campaign which worked for getting change. Instead of using violence which spreads anger and hate. We should spread tranquility within America as Americans not feel angry that we are different because of
