As the great Mother Teresa once stated, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” Serving others is a virtue which I hold close to my heart. As the vice president for the Red Cross Club at my school, I am able to truly practice the virtue of service. The Red Cross Club has made a difference in my life and the lives of others.
As vice president, I lead monthly meetings to prepare my group in preparing our community for disasters. Engaging in projects that address some of our country’s and world’s greatest needs, I diligently work with the president and advisor to plan and participate in service projects and fundraisers.
