Theme Of Justice In Paul's Murder

There are several different views of justice at play. George represents an ideal of justice with the law at the trial for Paul's murder, while Wahnotee and several other characters decide to take and serve their idea of justice in their own hands. Wahnotee is illuded at least to ultimately enacting the death sentence for Paul's Murder, McClosky takes justice into his own hands through manipulation and murder, Zoe takes justice into her own hand by resolving to kill herself. This concept of justice being in the hands of the law or man is very evident throughout the show. And how unclear and vague about what is considered "right" and "wrong" is our own prerogative ultimately. How can one seek justice if the law doesn't protect and serve them?
