After observing a third grader mathematics class, I got a better vision of how to approach such age with the required mathematical concepts. I not only enjoyed the observation time, but also was astonished with the different tools that those students are using. The class that I had attended was in middle of the second term of the academic year, with twenty-two students. The third graders were given two hours of daily mathematics, means ten hours a week, and approximately forty hours a month. The book applied in class was an in house made by the school after extensive research and development.
