In the novel Three Dark Crowns, the character Katherine is going through a rough spot in her journey through life. Killing your sisters is not exactly a walk in the park, but Katherine knows what she has to do to become the only Queen. Out of the three sisters, each one has a different gift. For example, Mirabella has the elemental gift. Even though she has the strongest gift, she has the weakest heart because she loves her sisters more than anything. Arsinoe has the naturalist gift, but not many would call it a gift. She cannot even sprout a seedling without passing out from trying. Lastly, Katherine is a poisoner. Poisoners not only are gifted at making poison, but they can imbibe it as well with no harm done to themselves.
