The revolution made mistake of forgetting the benefits of minorities groups of each society for equality. The women rights were forgot during french revolution and they spoke out their grievances as written in Declaration of the Rights of Woman, “ What advantage have you received from the Revolution? A more pronounced scorn, a more marked disdain?” ( Olympe de Gouges Postscript). The women had no political rights. They had to dependent on men for basic living standards for food and shelter. They lack basic ownership in property compared to men and these made them feel less than human.
