Online vs. Traditional Education

Deciding to go back to school is very exciting, and depending on which type of education is best for each individual will depend on the life style each individual lives, and if a person lives a very busy life then online is the best choice, but if a person wants to be in class and work one on one with instructors and classmates then traditional education will be the better choice either way online education and traditional education are similar, but also different, but the goal is to earn the degree of choice

When a student decides to further their education, the choice is sometimes difficult to make when deciding to go online or traditionally, but the student must commit to the choice that best fits their life style and their schedule. Choosing online education is the better choice for an adult and working parents. Many people lead such busy lives that furthering their education is a huge commitment. The student will also need to choose which education is the better choice for them selves, and which one fits their lifestyle the best. Online education has many learning styles, and the internet is the main way the student will be attending their classes. When you do your class assignments, you will be posting them on the student website in your individual forum. You will use the chat room forums to find out each week’s requirements, and you can ask questions through the online forums. The traditional education will have teacher and student interaction, and you will hand assignments directly to the teacher. If you have any questions, you can ask the teacher, and get an answer right away. Online education makes it a little harder to ask questions. You will have to carry around any textbook that you will need for those classes. E- Books for online learning are downloaded to your computer, and viewed in a word document, or PD file. The online and traditional education both use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, Access, Outlook, and Publisher software for class assignments, and presentations. Traditional education is hands on, and this is the best choice for students who need this type of interaction. The schedules for online learning and traditional education is very different for each. Online you can work at your own pace, work around your everyday routine, like a job or if you have children. You can set your own times to do your discussion questions, and attendance is different from traditional education. In the traditional education setting, you will have certain time you have to be in your classes. You will have a schedule written out for you, and will have to physically be sitting in the classroom. Online classes do not have specific times you have to be in class, all you
