D2 Evaluate the security policies used in an organisation

• Disaster recovery policies
There are many pros and cons of certain policies and procedures for disaster recovery, which I am going to evaluate below.

All the computers and servers need to be backed up every day because in case of disaster such as floods, earthquake, or fire from the building, which can cause all the system shut down completely. Also, if the Rio organisation has a power failure, the IT department still can restore all the data. This backup does not require any programming technician to get involved because it can be done remotely. You should always download the latest update in every month to ensure that your server is working properly of all time. Not only that, updating your computer is one of the most important things to boosting your computer. Keeping your computer safe, up to date fixes bugs and improvement in security as well as provides the latest version of software that will make the computer run faster and better. Some of the software are allows you to automatically set date and time when you want to update the system or remove cookies and history. Also, updating the antivirus software is very important because it will help to protect your system against viruses, Trojan horses, worms attack, … Clean up tools can increase the speed and the general performance of a computer; it deletes unnecessary files and data such as Internet history, cookies, temporary files... Cookie files and Internet history are quite small but they can still build up and slow down your system performance. Temporary files are saves onto the computer which will let you access the files quicker next time when you using them but if you never use the files again then it just wasting the hard disk space. Same thing with Internet history and
