It is not right to treat someone like a criminal when they are still growing up physically and mentally. They will make decisions they regret. Even though I have made my argument, questions remain. Will schools take other tactics of discipline with communication seriously? Will the schools ever see how badly they are treating their own students? How far is too far going to be? What will happen to those students who never find someone to believe in themselves to become a better person? These questions are important because there have been extreme cases before in school discipline, and who knows how bad it will get. The tactics like the healing circle may not be taken serious, even though it has been proven to be effective.
