From 1971 to 2007, the average student( in America) has a score of 263 in reading, and 278 in math( out of 500). Although, the price of education is extremely increasing( 1971= 4,000$, 2007= 10,000$ per student), the result of the standardize test has not changed. Surprisingly, the education board continues to pay such high cost, while the clear answers eludes them. In 2010, when poor education was only thought to be affected by poor neighborhoods, drugs, and family issues, Davis Guggenheim provided evidence on the errors of the education system in his latest movie "waiting for superman". In the documentary, Davis explores the historical and liability of the education process, in which a student might not attend a good school regardless of his or her grades. The documentary gives logical, visual text, and credibility appeals, and provide historical evidence of the education process. Davis achieves this by applying an informative tone, and a persuasive foundation on his topic. To reveal that the education in public school is unreliable, Davis begins the movie with an ethos appeal, he opens the movie by describing how as parents, he is concerned about the quality of education in public school being insufficient. He exploits different topic throughout the film by showing multiple visual charts and data exemplifying the majority of students(In America) failing. Another way Davis uses logos is when Mr. Geoffrey Canada is introduced and he( Geoffrey) highlights a few of the mistakes in the education system, and teachers union. Geoffrey stresses that mistakes like tenure( a contract that allows teachers to keep their jobs for life) can
