Heroes are caring and selfless people because of all the things they do for others. Everyday heroes, such as firefighters, never think twice before throwing themselves into danger for the well-being of people they have never met. Firefighters not only do anything and everything in their power to ensure the safety of people in need, but they are always looking to create a successful outcome in a dangerous conflict. For example, firefighters can save people from burning buildings, putting out massive fires, and many more. In the same way as firefighters who are caring and selfless, Welles Crowthers was a heroic figure because he saved countless lives from the burning South Tower on 9/11. In November 1923, trying to gain power, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi militia stormed into a beer hall where government officials were talking to a group of men and tried to force the officials to start a revolution. In the end, Hitler’s plan failed once the government officials escaped. According to the author of “Adolf Hitler,” “The following day, Hitler and his stormtroopers marched on the War Ministry building and were fired on by police. Hitler escaped, only to be found a few days later and arrested for “high treason” (“Adolf Hitler”). This evidence shows how Hitler was not selfless because he made life-threatening decisions but never thought about what might happen to him and his men if he did so. In addition, while in jail, Hitler wrote his autobiography entitled “Mein Kampf” and explained his thoughts on different religions. The article “Adolf Hitler” states “He stated that Germans (what he called the "Aryan" race) were the highest "creators of culture" in the world and should be the masters of it.
