Wilbur and Orville Wright were inventors who have become legends in the world of aviation. Most every person in the world at some point, in some way benefited from their invention of the three axis aerodynamic control system. The system is still used today. The brothers also made it possible for airplanes to carry more than one passenger. They started with one extra passenger today airplanes carry hundreds and for many different reasons. It all began in 1878 when their father Milton who was a minister returned from a business trip and brought his son’s home a toy helicopter. This would peak the boys’ interest, how can a toy made of paper bamboo a cork and a rubber band really fly.
As the brothers grow up they still are very curious and are

The company designed built and serviced bicycles.
The brothers were still focused on how they could fly so they started toying with different designs of bicycles and the idea of making one fly. At the location in Dayton Ohio they started working on the airfoil design. Airfoil is the design of the wing or rotor depending on which is used to keep the aircraft in flight. To test the design the brothers built a wind tunnel. In this wind tunnel they tested over 200 different wing and propeller designs.
During all this time the brothers testing different machines nothing is working a fabric covered glider the flight was successful but there was no way to steer. This will lead to the brothers to the biggest and best aviation discovery ever. They decided that maybe the fabric covered glider would work if it had a motor and a way of controlling the steering. So they come up with a 12 horsepower water cooled engine. Now if they could just steer the brothers set out to find a way to steer this flying machine and eventually come up with the three axis aerodynamic control. This control is still used today taking the pitch yaw and roll into consideration the brothers had finally come up with a way to control their
