What does it mean by danger is the center of the universe, or the center of attention? That when something bad happens it gets a lot of attention and people only focus on that.It becomes the center of attention.I disagree that when something bad happens it becomes the center of the universe because people shouldn't focus on other stuff, they should just pay attention to their own selves. the world is not going to depend on people, people need to depend on themselves.
Therefore, when I was younger my mother would tell me “The world does not revolve around you” meaning that if something happens your surroundings won’t be around. Just remember the world is round and anything you do will come back around. People need to be considerate about everything.
