As a society, we have laws that we must obey or deal with the consequences, whether that be self-guilt or sometimes it’s a fine to possible jail time. As Christians, we have the Bible that tells us how to live. Many times the Bible doesn’t have specific rules like; you should always have money in the checking account before writing a check, or you will have negative consequences. Instead, we were given all-encompassing instructions. We can find one such instruction in Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Another verse is Romans 12:2 which says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is right and acceptable and perfect." If we look at those two verses, we can gain insight into most situations. …show more content…
However, if we follow such verses as the two previous listed, the path they light is full of wisdom and guidance that has been given to us by a loving Father who won’t lead us astray. If we follow the above verses, the policies that surround the privacy or the surveillance issue will not matter because whatever we are doing should only be glorifying God and show others love like God loves us. Our work will not be brought into questions as the Bible has told us in Titus 3:1, “Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work.” Christians have a book of wisdom and guidance at their fingertips. The problem is, the book needs to read and put into
